Sky News yesterday: We have not contacted Nigel Farage's family.
Sky News today: Actually we did.
They lied and the government wants YouTube to artificially boost Sky News as a “trusted source”. They’re one of the worst for dishonesty.
Andy Burnham told the papers he wants to stop Labour’s plan to release rapists and paedophiles from prison early.
He had the chance to vote to stop it last night.
He didn’t even show up.
Totally accept Farage is entitled to year round, 24-hour-a-day protection from the usual suspects and will need it for the rest of his life.
Security doesn’t come cheap and he will have got through that £5million in ten years.
Therefore I can’t understand is why the Home Office withdrew 70% of the security funding which effectively forced Farage into the arms of a crypto king.
Even going into a pub for a quick beer is damned risky when you hold Farage’s populist views.
The report cutting his protection needs being published. Perhaps Farage could lay his hands on a copy.
I suspect it will help his case in the Court of Public Opinion.
NEW🚨: Rachel Reeves Labour MP and Chancellor of the Exchequer failed to declare transfers and cash donations of £30,000 from Alison Wedgwood (Oct 2025), £15,000+ from others like David Sainsbury, and larger sums from figures such as Sir Victor Blank (£175,000 reported in some coverage).
Also “in kind support” from lord Ali £7,500 from donors like Lord Alli), event costs, and more. One source notes ~25 donations declared by Sept 2024, with ~£163k cash and ~£183k in-kind.
All this was final declared mid this year.
She was never investigated by UK’s Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards.
This is how a Detective Inspector from @bedspolice chose to present himself to the media and therefore the public today. Mate, you’re a detective, not a poet. Get a haircut and a beard trim.
There is growing speculation about the enforcement of Labour's social media ban for Under-16s involving restrictions or bans on VPNs.
Make no mistake, if this is introduced, it will mean an end to online privacy, and the state will know exactly who is looking at what at all times if they so choose.
The only other states with restrictions on VPNs are China, Russia, Iran, Oman, the UAE, Turkey and India.
This is a dark direction of policy even for the Labour Party.

🚨🇫🇷 Marine Le Pen sentenced to 3 years (2 suspended), €100,000 fine, and house arrest with an electronic bracelet - all to stop her from winning the presidency in 2027.
They’ve been trying to silence her for years. But they failed and she’s STILL eligible to run.
For Manchesterism read Skinterism.
The left leaning Resolution Foundation has found that spending power under Burnham in the Northern city fell 7% between 2021-2023 compared with an average 4.7% fall in the rest of the UK.
Shortly he will bring his special brand of Skinterism down South.
This is going to be painful.
Meet the real Ed Davey
Ed Davey earned £833 an hour – over £220,000 in total – advising lawyers representing the Post Office. This involved taking taxpayers’ money to persecute terrified and innocent people.
If Sky News knew that Nigel Farage would be at the Airport, why did they visit the house knowing that he would not be there?
The only explanation is that they wanted to hound his family members.
Jess Phillips is absolutely raging with contempt at Nigel Farage:
“I don’t know if I could express my contempt any greater about what I think about him playing a game with a job that I believe to be an absolute privilege and an honour.”
This is the same Jess Phillips who, as Safeguarding Minister, refused to launch a proper government inquiry into grooming gangs in Oldham and whose party voted to block a national inquiry into the whole scandal.
The same Labour Party whose councils and authorities turned a blind eye for years while thousands of vulnerable British girls were systematically groomed and abused. Where was this foaming outrage then? Did the industrial scale abuse of children make her seethe with the same fury she is showing over Farage resigning to force a by election and let voters judge him?
And the ultimate hypocrisy: this woman who cares so much about being in government that she resigned her own ministerial post under Starmer is now clutching her pearls because Farage is resigning his elected seat to face the people again.
If the job is such a sacred privilege that you cannot play games with it, why is Labour refusing to stand a candidate in this by election? Dodging the democratic process they claim to worship?
Absolute hypocrite.
Why on earth is Green MP Hannah Spencer campaigning for a Hamas colonel who was running a hospital used by terrorists? Our country is really in trouble.
