What does energy access really look like through the eyes of young Nigerians?
We asked corps members to share their honest experiences with electricity, how it affects their daily lives, work, and future aspirations. Their answers were candid, relatable, and a reminder that energy is more than power; it's opportunity.
Watch their stories and tell us:
How has access to electricity shaped your daily life?
Share your experience in the comments.

The proposed Net Billing Regulations by NERC could make it easier for Nigerians to generate electricity through solar, power their homes or businesses, and send excess energy back to the grid.
This is a step towards a more reliable, decentralized, and sustainable energy system, where consumers become producers too.
Clean energy isn't just the future. It's becoming part of Nigeria's present.

We celebrated the 2026 #WorldEnvironmentDay in style!
We didn't just plant trees we celebrated them and distributed them to homes and communities, inspiring more people to become champions of a greener future.
Every tree planted is an investment in cleaner air, cooler cities, healthier ecosystems, stronger communities, and greater food security. Through urban gardening and tree planting, we are building climate resilience one tree at a time.
Because the best time to plant a tree was years ago. The next best time is today.

Infrastructure is more than concrete and steel. Trees are green infrastructure essential for cooling cities, protecting soils, conserving biodiversity, and building climate resilience.
Investing in trees is investing in people, prosperity, and the planet. Nature-based solutions are not optional; they are essential.

Today, we celebrate Nigeria’s democracy and the power of citizens to shape a better future.
Democracy is not just about voting; it is about creating opportunities for people to thrive. Access to reliable electricity is one of those opportunities. When homes, schools, hospitals, businesses, and communities have power, people can work, learn, innovate, and participate more fully in society.
This Democracy Day, let's continue building a Nigeria where every citizen has the power to succeed.
Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria.

The environment, economy, and security are deeply interconnected. A climate-blind and environmentally insensitive government is, in many ways, manufacturing future insecurity.
As we approach another election cycle, the conversations remain largely unchanged: stomach infrastructure, bags of rice, cash handouts, ethnicity, zoning, and religion.
Nigeria deserves more. We must interrogate candidates on their plans for climate action, clean energy, food security, sustainable agriculture, jobs, public health, and national security. Politicians do not create political will, they respond to it.
The future is on the ballot. Be an active citizen. Vote for policies, not promises.
