something about sky "i believe in science" wongravee nateetorn tying the broken red thread back on and texting the monk to check if it's not a bad omen ... he rlly suffered far more and way longer than jesus on june 4th, 2026
I need to share my personal opinion about this series. I don't see just friendship between Niran and Pete. I'm actually glad they decided to remove the friendship tag from the series and focus on action and fantasy instead, because it's clear that the love between the main characters is growing and that it is more than just a simple friendship it is a deep connection with real feelings involved.
Niran would do anything to save Pete, and Pete can't stand being away from Niran. Their bond goes beyond labels and tags; they feel and suffer together. Performing a ritual that binds their souls a ritual that is usually associated with couples is something very intimate.
Their reactions whenever they are asked about romantic feelings also suggest that something more could develop between them. I'm happy that the series has taken this direction.

okay but niran’s love language is 100% physical touch.
he’s not very talkative, but shows his affection through soft touches, running fingers through pete’s hair, patting and holding onto the back of his head when pete needs reassurance:

Okay to be honest, the biggest things I have to say about this episode are regarding the soul binding so, ahem.
Niran deciding to do a soul bond to save Peter is no small decision. That’s a lifelong choice, one he knows the consequences of and makes it anyway.
This isn’t something you do for just anyone, Niran chose to do this to save Pete, and even though it was in a moment of desperation, I think he’d make the same choice every single time.
There’s the argument that he did it to protect everyone because they need the demons power, BUT the larger argument is there WAS other options, Niran just did not want to risk Pete’s life trying anything else, this was the fastest and most sure way.
And knowing Pete for such an arguably short time and deciding to do that? Speaks to their bond. Now it’s just made offical, seen by the heavens and deities.
Even Fei acknowledges this isn’t something Niran would ever just jump to do.
Honestly I love how it’s portrayed. You can see the conflict in Niran too and the way he needs to process it, how he needs to fully accept he’s bound himself to someone after living a life secluded.
And with Pete, he’s not once mad at Niran for making this decision, and it really is something he would have the right to be angry about. Having someone bind your soul to theirs, your entire life and fate is a thing that just having done without consent could feel like betrayal.
And you can see Pete process it when Fei is explain it to him, but at no point does he get angry or frustrated. He understands why Niran did it, he trusts him and accepts it.
If anything, Pete is actually more concerned about Niran regretting it, thinking it’s a mistake. He seeks reassurance in his own way, but you can tell he truely seems uneasy about it.
And as soon as Niran gives him that assurance, he believes him. No doubt, no hesitation, only completely trust.
I think what I adore most about their relationship is that it cannot be simply defined, there’s more layers built into it each episode and their bond is shown through every choice that make to protect each other.

fyi, in the novel, after the soul-binding was complete, niran wasn't sure he could ever explain why he had to do (the soul-binding ritual). he just knew he couldn't let pete go 🥹
and as niran walked along the road, staring at the golden thread tied to his wrist (which the other end he knows is tied to pete), he wondered if he made the right choice. but if he could go back... he knew he'd do it again cause he couldn't let the demon destroy pete
according to niran, his life was no longer his own. it belonged to pete too
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

okay but pete’s love language is definitely words of affirmation, that’s why he tries to have deep conversations with niran and always boosts his confidence, bc it comes naturally to him and he probably wishes he’d been treated the same

people downplay ME & THEE so much just cuz it was a romcom.
as if, for a series to be recognized as (so called)GOOD, it should ALWAYS be tragic, heartwreching, ppl should d!e, get hospitalised & face unrealistic problems?
as if it's easy to pull a romcom & make it GLOBALLY HIT😒
everyone talking about how they wish tth had a sad ending but as someone who is a really big fan of those - i wouldn’t want a sad ending here. do i want to see the struggles, the religious guilt? of course. but religious queers also deserve happiness, i want them to show that
