also, today we are making a lightweight version of memory available to the free tier of chatgpt!
memory has probably become my favorite feature in chatgpt; excited for us to improve this a lot over time.

Si un correo te toma menos de 2 minutos en responder o procesar, hazlo de inmediato. No lo dejes para después, no lo marques como “No leído”, no lo pospongas.

𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁 𝗜 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄...
It is called the 𝟱-𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲. I learned this trick from Benjamin Franklin, but it is also used by Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, Elon Musk, and Jack Ma. The trick is to 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝟱 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲.
The concept is wonderfully simple: No matter how busy successful people are, they always 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗮 𝗱𝗮𝘆 — or five hours a work week — 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 or practicing. And they do this throughout their entire career.
The rules that I follow here are simple:
𝟭. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝟭-𝟯𝗵 𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘆
Even if you can't commit to reading an hour or more every day, start with 20 to 30 minutes. You can carry a book with you during your commute or wait for something so you can learn something new instead of wasting your time on a smartphone. Also, try audiobooks.
𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁
Include in your reflection how you're planning to use your newfound information to make better future decisions. Then, move on to your daily tasks with a more vital awareness. You can set aside some time for this like I do when making a plan for the following day in the evening before I go to bed.
𝟯. 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Here, you should try to use the knowledge you acquired in a real-world situation. For instance, if you read a book about teamwork and collaboration, you can take on some new volunteer jobs to put that knowledge to use.
When you 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁, you'll be more successful and productive across different areas of your life. Investing in a reading habit ensures you're growing yourself — and your company — every day.
Will the 5-hour rule work for you? Try it for a month. Embrace the process as a test, then evaluate your mental abilities at the beginning and the end. You might be surprised at the extent of your evolution.
