Andre's been involved with Sonic (then Fantom) since June 2018.
At the time I was at a fund that fundraised for the project. After the previous team had messed up and plagiarised their technical paper, we were about to close it until Andre convinced us that he was already developing technology we could use. We decided to keep the project going.
It was the best decision.
Andre worked 24/7 to get the chain launched. If it wasn't for him, Fantom would've died in 2018. It was him and the team that took a project that was under $6m market cap in January 2019 to billions of dollars.
He's been the MVP for Sonic. But you treat him as if he's done nothing.
Stop engaging in conspiracies like "he's deliberately sabotaging Sonic" or "suppressing price" and others. Because it's just rubbish and the complete opposite of the truth.
You criticise him because of one issue on one graphic. Yet if you bother to read the FT docs and The Block article (which to be fair a few have) you'll see things like:
> "The FT token contract: Is initially deployed with 10 billion tokens minted on Sonic chain (ID 146)";
> ftUSD graphic using Aave + Beets as an example;
> Zero-fee trading on Sonic;
Just let the man work. Andre is by far the most creative + technically competent dev I've met in my life.

@Tap_Fintech 4. Is it not possible to preserve a liquid AMM pool or explore other medium/major CEXs listings? CEXs listing fees are not always huge and one has to weigh in variety of token accessibility, liquidity, transaction fees and support
Beautiful project with traction and PMF 🚀
@Tap_Fintech 2. Why not offer fee discounts when fees are paid with XTP and use some of these to reduce token circulation?
3. Does a customer need to be awake or on top of the screen to place a trade? The use of classic simple Limit/Stop orders to Enter, Exit a trade would be quite handy
@Tap_Fintech I am a big fan but have some questions
1. Why charge 7.96% per round turn for non USD holders (1.99%x4) (Buy/Sell) (down to 4% in most cases by holding XTP). Can you see the effect on Break even price this has. In many CEXs cost is around 0.8%-0.4% or much less based on volume
@Tap_Fintech @CryptosofDoom You have a product that works really well.
Many times you've said exchange listings are too expensive, yet the very growth of your business depends on user access to acceptable XTP liquidity.
Bitfinex is clearly not solving this.
Please take the shackles off XTP & fund a UNI LP ?
@Tap_Fintech Firstly I love your app. Fantastic business. But it is incredible how many more things could be done in terms of Crypto verticals, and how slowly things evolve, bearing in mind the base jurisdictions you are located in. Love the product but it is worthy of a giant.
Go Big 💕
@AndreCronjeTech Thanks for the work and the ongoing explanations. Can i just ask if I am understanding this correctly that the Fantom Sonic Sequencer could act as the layer sitting between existing L2s and Ethereum to offer extremely fast/sequential rollups?
