Clark believed in Jay when no one else did. He begged Jay to stop hustling and focus on music. He dedicated his time and energy to pushing Jay’s music to anyone who would listen. He’s the man who introduced Jay and Dame to each other, which ultimately led to them starting Roc-A-Fella Records.
