Hi, I'm Angel, a 300-level Public Administration student currently pivoting into tech with a goal of becoming a Cloud & DevOps Engineer.
Here's my journey so far.

Before Docker, sending your code to a teammate was a Hail Mary.
It worked perfectly on your machine. There was a real chance it broke on theirs.
Here's why and how Docker fixed it 🧵
Some days I'm studying Cloud.
Some days I'm fighting with my laptop.
Some days I understand absolutely nothing.
And somehow, I'm still becoming an engineer.
That's the tweet.
Sometimes I look at my life and ask:
So, what does the future look like?
Because the truth is, I don’t have everything figured out.
But I do have reasons to keep moving.
I’m grateful to share that I’ve received a 100% scholarship to study BSc CS at the University of the People

I'd love to connect with people on this same journey.
If you're into Cloud, DevOps, Azure, Linux, Docker, automation, infrastructure, or you're the type that intentionally breaks things just to figure out how to fix them…
I'd love to connect.
Coming from Public Administration into Cloud & DevOps has been quite challenging.
I went from learning about administration and organizational processes to “Why isn't my VM connecting?”
But somehow, I kept going.
And I've really enjoyed the journey so far.
I'm still very early in the path, but I'm excited about where I'm heading.
I'm still learning.
I'm still building.
I'm still making mistakes.
And I'm still figuring out why things broke in the first place.
There were also moments when I was working through setting up a Linux VM, connecting it to a Virtual Network, and thinking, “It's just to create storage, isn't it?”
Welllll Azure had other plans for me😂.
And let me tell you… learning and building can be REALLY, REALLY hard.
Despite all the confusion, there were moments when I learnt concatenate isn't just used in Excel, but is also used in the terminal to join multiple files or show their contents.
So early this year, instead of just researching what Cloud & DevOps was about, I took that first baby step and decided to actually DO something about my it.
I started learning about;
Cloud Infrastructures
Networking
Linux
Git & GitHub
Azure
Docker
Terraform
Kubernetes and more.
My journey started with a podcast I came across on Instagram about how exciting it is to build in the cloud.
And I loved it immediately. Why?
Because I'm naturally curious, I love learning new things, and I enjoy creativity.
