Something that stuck with me was learning how much of our emotions and reactions to things affect our dogs. Dogs mirror their owners and it was so interesting to learn about this while researching for my Scicomm article.

I learned about the importance of research and the resources you use to get the information. For example, Usually, social media is usually looked down on to get information because of the spread of fake news...

Dogs are our companions and they are so protective of their owners. It's sad to see so many dogs (pets) suffer in shelters. I think if we can no longer care for them, we owe it to them to look for other options to make sure our dogs don't end up at shelters. #WhatIlearnedinWR60

Are you ready to adopt a dog? "As potential dog owners people have to realize that adopting a dog is a big responsibility. You have to be capable and available for your dog. " Do your research and make an educated decision. #39canimals
