In terms of raw cinema The Passion of the Christ remains the most searing portrait of Christ’s passion and crucifixion ever filmed. Mel Gibson’s masterpiece, and Jim Caviezel’s otherworldly performance should have won all the awards. No matter… it is still winning souls. And yes, I’m watching it again this #GoodFriday
The Jewish high priests rejected the Messiah and King and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate to be crucified. The Lamb of God was sentenced to death, but then there was resurrection Sunday… death has been defeated!
CHRIST IS KING
“He told me that immedately after His resurrection He went to see our Lady because she then had great need and that the pain she experienced so absorbed and transpierced her soul that she did not retum immedately to herself to rejoice in that joy.
… what must have been that transpiercing of the Blessed Virgin's soul!
He also said that He had remained a long time with her because it was necessary in order to console her.”
(St. Teresa of Jesus. Spiritual Testimonies. 12)
A Nuestro Señor Jesús prácticamente lo deformaron en la flagelación ordenada por los miembros del Sanedrín judío. No tuvieron compasión alguna.
This was how the world reacted to the release of the Passion of the Christ in 2004
People moved to tears and beyond words
There was a reason the film was slandered and lied about before it came out, it was one of the most powerful witnesses to Jesus Christ ever made
The Hidden Power of Eucharistic Adoration
Introduction
→ To some, Eucharistic Adoration looks quiet and ordinary: sitting or kneeling in silence before the Host. But for those who truly believe in the Real Presence, Adoration is one of the most powerful encounters with God outside of Mass. Its power is not loud or dramatic. It is hidden, steady, and deeply transformative.
Jesus Is Truly There
→ At the heart of Adoration is a simple truth: the Eucharist is not a symbol. It is Jesus Christ Himself, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity. When we kneel before the monstrance, we are in the presence of the same Lord who walked the roads of Galilee, died on the Cross, and now reigns in glory.
Silence That Forms the Soul
→ In a world full of noise, Adoration offers sacred silence. This silence is not empty. It is full of God. Here, we learn to listen with the heart. Many experience peace, clarity, and quiet direction, not through words, but through His presence.
A Place of Healing
→ Time before the Blessed Sacrament has been the birthplace of conversions, vocations, and deep interior healing. Jesus looks at us with love, enters our wounds, and restores what is broken. Even when nothing seems to happen, grace is at work.
Strength Against Darkness
→ Adoration is also powerful intercession. Christ’s Eucharistic presence drives back darkness and strengthens the Church. As St. John Paul II reminded us, the Church and the world have a great need for Eucharistic worship.
Quiet Transformation
→ You do not need to feel anything for Adoration to bear fruit. Just as the sun warms the skin without effort, the soul is changed simply by being with Jesus. Over time, Adoration forms hearts to become more patient, peaceful, forgiving, and Christlike.
Where the Saints Drew Their Strength
→ Saints like St. Teresa of Calcutta, St. John Vianney, and St. Padre Pio all drew their strength from long hours before the Blessed Sacrament. They teach us this simple truth: the power of Adoration is not in doing, but in being with Him.
Final Thought
→ Eucharistic Adoration places us directly before Jesus, where silence becomes prayer, wounds are healed, and hearts are slowly transformed. In Adoration, we do not just give time to God. We allow God to work on us. Quietly. Faithfully. Completely.
If the Eucharist is really Jesus, why do so many Catholics ignore Adoration?

The stigmata, the visible or invisible marks of Christ’s crucifixion borne on the hands, feet, side, and sometimes the head, stands among the most profound and mysterious mystical gifts in the history of the Church🇻🇦
While St. Francis of Assisi and Padre Pio are among the most famous stigmatics, the majority of those who have borne the stigmata throughout history have been women.
Here are five holy women who, among many others, shared in Christ’s suffering in this extraordinary way:
1️⃣ St. Catherine of Siena (1347–1380)
Doctor of the Church and mystic. She received the stigmata during a vision after receiving Holy Communion. At her request, the wounds remained invisible during her life but became visible after her death.
2️⃣ St. Rita of Cascia (1381–1457)
Patroness of impossible causes. As an Augustinian nun, she received a partial stigmata, a thorn from Christ's Crown of Thorns embedded in her forehead, which caused her great pain for the rest of her life.
3️⃣ St. Veronica Giuliani (1660–1727)
Capuchin nun who received the full stigmata (hands, feet, and side) along with the marks of the crown of thorns. Her wounds were carefully examined by Church authorities and remained visible throughout her life.
4️⃣ St. Gemma Galgani (1878–1903)
Passionist tertiary known for her deep devotion to the Sacred Heart. On the eve of the Feast of the Sacred Heart in 1899, she received the visible stigmata after a vision of the crucified Jesus. Her wounds would bleed especially on Fridays.
5️⃣ St. Mariam Baouardy (Mary of Jesus Crucified) (1846–1878)
Discalced Carmelite nun and mystic from the Holy Land. She received the stigmata early in her religious life and experienced many other extraordinary graces, including levitation and prophecies.
These women didn't seek suffering for its own sake, they united their pain with Christ's out of love for Him and for souls. Their lives remind us that holiness often passes through the Cross.
Most Precious Blood - Friday after Fourth Sunday in Lent
"To understand the meaning of the Precious Blood, we must get some comprehension of the gravity of sin, of the awfulness of offending God, because it required the Blood of the Son of God to forgive that sin." - Fr. Hardon
An emotional moment when a young girl bids her family and friends goodbye to join the cloistered Carmelite Nuns.
Religious life is indeed a life of total sacrifice.
It’s 2 weeks until Good Friday and 2000 years later the world is still trying to solve the problem that Jews require a “political Messiah” to forcefully retake the Promised Land.
What we truly need is the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ, the true Messiah for all men, Jew and Gentile. The human problem isn’t Middle Eastern real estate, but the sin inside our hearts. Only Jesus can save us.
