🌱🐄 From fodder to fortune!
A youth-led company in @KayonzaDistrict is demonstrating how agriculture can drive economic transformation. With support from the Rwanda Dairy Development Project Phase II (RDDP II), Powers of Youth in Agriculture Modernization (PYAM) has generated Rwf16 million from its first fodder harvest and expects an additional Rwf20 million from seed sales.
Beyond revenue, the enterprise is creating hundreds of jobs, strengthening dairy farming, and helping address one of the sector’s biggest challenges: access to quality animal feed.
This is a powerful example of how innovation, youth entrepreneurship and strategic investment can unlock opportunities across Rwanda’s agricultural value chain.

While Rwanda posts 9.4% GDP growth in 2025, lifts 1.5 million people out of poverty, and continues building a modern, united nation under Vision 2050 — a small group of self-proclaimed opposition voices is busy calling for “regime change” and prisoner releases from exile.
In our latest article on TOP AFRICA NEWS MEDIA, we examine how these detractors of peace and development ignore the real story: a country transforming lives through innovation, agriculture, unity, and home-grown democracy like Umushyikirano.
