🚨BIG news: Today the federal judges who granted us an injunction last month ordering @PittsburghPG to restore our illegally-taken health care DENIED the company’s desperate attempts to rehear the case, delay justice and cut its *current* workers out of the plan we’ve won back.
We requested the @PittsburghPG give the improved health care we recently won to all bargaining unit employees. To be clear, the 3rd Circuit Court already ordered the PG to do this. It’s just delaying in an attempt to deny its CURRENT employees health care.

BREAKING: Today the 3rd Circuit Court enjoined the @PittsburghPG, ordering the company to — upon request — immediately restore the health care it illegally took away in 2020, and bargain with us.
This is an enormous win and the most consequential day of our entire strike.
The PA Supreme Court this week rejected @pittsburghpg's latest claim that our picketing is illegal. It’s just the latest case of the company letting itself be a cash cow for losing lawyers when it could settle with striking workers.

On Saturday we learned the @PittsburghPG’s ongoing violations of labor law now face the prospect of an injunction in the 3rd Circuit Court. It’s a rare move against the PG’s deeply unlawful behavior.
If granted, it would restore the contract terms we’ve been striking for!
BREAKING: The @NLRB has filed to enjoin the @PittsburghPG to stop its years of breaking federal labor law. This could’ve been avoided by the PG bargaining in good faith. We’ve struck for 2+ years to restore our contract & get decent health care. This injunction would grant that.
Breaking news in the Pittsburgh news workers strike: The @NLRB has filed for a rare emergency injunction in federal court that could help resolve several major issues that led to editorial employees walking out two years and two months ago: https://t.co/HcvJ7JQQBU
We are so grateful for our @NYTGuildTech union siblings, who see us and support us with this donation.
This kind of solidarity and generosity is what keeps us going after two years on strike. It makes sure our families are cared for, bills are paid and holidays are brighter. 💛

What a gift: The Pittsburgh news strikers also figure into our top story by @angolds about @NYTGuildTech donating to them the remainder of the money raised during its work stoppage, a total of about $114,000: https://t.co/o6TlHPvpN8

It was a ghost of Christmas past when PG strikers & @PghLaborChoir caroled at the home of Publisher John R. Block, who expressed frustration w/ the company’s bargaining team and progress to end the strike.
“We should try something different,” he said.
