Yesterday was not 🥶💨☔️ the best for biomass cuts, but it needed to be done before the lambs go in the paddock this week.

The NEXUS Project is comparing pasture and animal performance (finishing lambs) on single species annual forages and multiple species mixes.

Progeny testing of the 2021 drop dorsets yesterday. Good amount of fat, lovely big eye muscle and not bad IMF. @BarenbrugAUS pasture raised. Taste and tenderness TBC. Southdown 2 Tooth in the oven at the minute (very different carcass).
