the philippine government would rather cripple several industries and strangle the online communities of hundreds of thousands of filipinos rather than examine the rampant recklessness and negligence of its military and law enforcement personnel
⚔️🔥CAPTURE QUEST: CHARIZARD🔥⚔️
I have wanted to paint this for over a decade and spent the last year of my life fighting to bring it to the finish line.
Please take a look, there is a lot to see
@LogoSimian Lets also not forget how Disney rigged the system. Stuff that was G-rated for Disney got a PG for everyone else. It was also more difficult to get as many theaters to play the films vs Disney. Still, I miss when US animation was the gold standard.
@DancesWidLesbos I feel like the barrier of entry is so much higher than it’s ever been before. The common advice of just having a competitive focused portfolio to get your foot in the door feels a bit oversimplified now because entry level roles are borderline nonexistent these days
These companies want their artists to have a degree from a 200k prestige art school, years of experience, and an exceptional (relevant) portfolio in order to get an entry level art position- but they don’t even have the decency to keep us on for more than 6 months at a time.
I hate how despite the current crisis we are still doing the business as usual. I'm at this point that Filipino resiliency is no longer something to be proud about. We are always resilient, forgiving but never enraged enough to fck this system that has been fckng with us.
To think that if execs and billionaire CEO’s at Epic took even the slightest pay cut, it would be likely that pivotal, hard working devs like Evan, could keep on making a living doing incredible work that makes games better for us all.
Devs deserve so much more than this.
