As someone who is a keen follower of much of University of Virginia work, and who has also heard of this theory via Clif High, I am very much inclined to agree.

As I pointed out to my daughter yesterday however: when I am being accused of being ‘intolerant’ towards an issue I’ve always taken for granted *because* of the corporatised/ institutionalised/ politicised reasons you mention, it begins to backfire. And maybe that’s the whole agenda.
