Great news for Durgapur KNI Airport

Air India Express in its winter schedule has proposed to operate direct / non-stop flights between Durgapur and Delhi.

Please note that this is a plan and final approval is yet to be received.

This will be a morning flight in contrast to the (daily, direct / non-stop) evening flight which is being operated by Indigo. Timings and exact date of introduction will be updated later on. Both the flights will be operational (most likely).

If this flight gets introduced then Durgapur will have double daily flights to Delhi, one in the morning by Air India Express and another by Indigo in the evening.

NOTE - Recently frequency of flights has been increased from Durgapur Airport and now, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai all have 7 days a week service. Mumbai is only 4 days and we want this to increase to 7 days in tandem with other destinations.
