The heat has increased a lot, so everyone should drink plenty of water.

India’s great Prime Minister Modi held a high-level meeting yesterday. In the meeting, he called all the MPs and ministers. The entire country was expecting that, with the rising prices of petrol, diesel, and CNG, increasing inflation, and the difficult situation faced by poor people, small business owners, street vendors, and rickshaw pullers, the government would announce some relief measures or make an important decision.

But the interesting part is that Prime Minister Modi told his MPs and ministers:

“The heat has increased a lot, so all of you should drink more water.”

And then the meeting ended.

Tell me, can there be a more caring Prime Minister anywhere? In a high-level meeting, he is advising his MPs and ministers to drink plenty of water.

Now wait and watch. Today they are asking people to drink more water. India was already mixing 20% ethanol in petrol, and now the government plans to increase it to 30%. Slowly, after some time, they may even say, “Please drink less water too, we need it to produce ethanol.”

Now it is becoming clear why the great Prime Minister does not hold press conferences. He probably knows that he may not be able to answer even five serious questions.

If questions are asked about development, education, national security, healthcare, and corruption, then he himself might need to drink plenty of water.

Where is the DM report of Palam Fire Incident ?

Heartbreaking that 9 lives including 3 children were lost in the Palam fire on 18 March, and the DM inquiry report is still awaited even after 45 days.

Today, we lost another 9 precious lives including a young child in a fire in Vivek Vihar.

Families are devastated. We urge the CM & LG saab to please expedite the Palam report and take urgent steps to prevent such tragedies.

Public safety must be a priority, Reels are not.

VIDEO | Delhi: Asked about her social media post seeking the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) intervention to address Delhi’s air pollution crisis, former Puducherry Lt Governor and ex-IPS officer Kiran Bedi says,"...I have requested the honourable Prime Minister’s leadership because, at present, a retired civil servant is heading the commission and supervising the matter. Committees and groups have been formed, but the strong political weight that is needed at this moment is missing. This is essentially a coordination issue involving multiple states - Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, and Punjab. Since it is an inter-state matter, it cannot be left solely to a retired civil servant. Whether it is construction, sanitation, or developmental regulations, enforcement requires powerful, coordinated, and effective leadership."

She adds,"This situation is similar to COVID. I personally witnessed how the Prime Minister guided, inspired, and united the country during that crisis. When coordination is required across states and regions, especially with existing political challenges, no one is better at it than him. If the Prime Minister does not wish to intervene directly, the commission can at least be placed under a Group of Ministers, because this issue concerns multiple states and impacts public health. Air pollution may appear to subside but keeps returning, and it is harming every Delhi resident, from children to the elderly. That is why strong leadership from the PMO is essential.”

मैंने कहा — केंद्र सरकार कहती है कि पंजाब यूनिवर्सिटी दे दो, एक राज्य कहता है कि हैडवर्क्स दे दो, एक कहता है कि चंडीगढ़ दे दो।

जो भी आता है कि पंजाब से लेना चाहता है लेकिन जब हम कहते हैं कि हमें कुछ दे दो तो कुछ भी नहीं दिया जाता। आज तक केंद्र सरकार से बाढ़ आपदा का ₹1600 Crore तक नहीं मिला है।
