As the buzz around the Jantar Mantar protest dies down, Madhya Pradesh is back in the news.

SDM Ram Niwas of Panna district ordered two mobile covers worth ₹120 from Flipkart.

When the delivery boy arrived with the sealed package, the SDM opened it and found only one mobile cover instead of two. Rather than raising a complaint with Flipkart, he allegedly abused the delivery boy and demanded an immediate refund.

The delivery boy dared to tell His Lordship that that's not how e-commerce works. He explained that the parcel was sealed, that it was likely a packing or logistics error, and that the proper course was to raise a complaint with Flipkart, which would handle the resolution through its return process.

His Lordship took offense at being told how the process worked. He allegedly called the police, and the delivery boy was reportedly arrested under Section 151 of the BNSS.

स्पेन में 13 वर्षीय एक युवती का उसके पड़ोसी ने अपहरण कर उसके साथ दुष्कर्म किया। आरोपी को केवल 9 साल की सजा सुनाई गई।

सजा के केवल 6 साल पूरे करने के बाद उसे पैरोल पर रिहा कर दिया गया और वह फिर उसी शहर में लौट आया। एक दिन बस स्टॉप के पास उसकी मुलाकात पीड़िता की मां से हुई।

उसने तंज कसते हुए पूछा, "तुम्हारी बेटी कैसी है?"
मां का सब्र टूट गया। वह पेट्रोल लेकर लौटी, आरोपी पर पेट्रोल डाला और उसे आग लगा दी।

आरोपी गंभीर रूप से झुलस गया और कुछ दिनों बाद उसकी मौत हो गई।

महिला भागी नहीं। सदमे की हालत में होने के बावजूद उसने आसपास मौजूद लोगों को बताया कि उसने क्या किया है और पुलिस के आने का इंतजार किया।

उसे साढ़े पाँच साल की सजा सुनाई गई; लेकिन उसे माफ़ किए जाने की मांग को लेकर चले व्यापक जन अभियान के बाद रिहा कर दिया गया।
