Jo log France-Bangladesh kar rahe hain naa, let me tell you, as a journalist who has spent the last three years in Manipur, that India crossed all levels of violence, brutality and security breakdown under BJP rule LONG, LONG BACK. France-Bangladesh don't even come close to what has happened in our own backyard.

Only because it has happened in Manipur, which nobody cares about, and the BJP has done a wonderful job of keeping mainstream media away, it has been easy to hide and ignore.

You want to talk violence? LET'S TALK VIOLENCE.

Women and children have been killed in the most brutal ways, in ways that even Hitler could not have imagined. I have covered children who were trained to use assault rifles. Civilians have thrown bombs (state-owned ammunition) at each other. And insurgents who were supposed to have ceased to exist have crossed over and been given weapons to wage a WAR.

Till today, violence is at its peak in Manipur, and the UNION HOME MINISTRY AND THE BJP GOVERNMENT HAVE COLOSSALLY FAILED TO STOP IT.

Forget stopping the violence. Children are living near gutters, and the govt hasn't been able to do anything for them. CENTRE BJP. STATE BJP. "Double Engine".

So what the fuck is your logic? And I'm sorry for using this language, but I'm sick of this fucking drama.

I have said this before, and I'll say it again.. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT COMPARE OUR KIDS, OUR CITIZENS, WITH FRANCE, BANGLADESH OR WHATEVER.

Agar unhe violence karna hota, toh unke paas bohot time tha aur bohot janta thi July 20 se pehle. Par naa kisi ka wo intention tha aur naa hi kabhi bhi hoga. Ye sikhaya hai hume Indian values ne. Indian democracy ne. NO VIOLENCE and we're all proud of it. Hum sabne dekha violence kisne shuru kiya aur kis hadd tak pahunchaya July 20 ko. Ek mahine se upar shanti se baithne ke baad, acchi education maangne ke baad, 12 baccho ke marne ke baad, ek bhi sarkar ka aadmi nahi aaya tab tak, jab tak baccho ke muh pe PELLET nahi chala di.

Don't know about our citizens, but our current politicians are 100% inspired by some of the most brutal leadership the world has ever seen. Bachchon ke muh pe bomb phenkne ki himmat rakhte hain ye log, if it comes to saving their power. I AM SAYING THIS ON RECORD because I have seen Manipur and what they have done there.

Jo apne khud ke bachchon ke muh ke upar pellet chala sakte hain, Manipur ke bachchon ko bhaad mein jaane de sakte hain, WO KYA DESHPREM KI BAAT KAR RAHE HAIN aur doosron ko jhoothi narratives ke basis par defame kar rahe hain!

Each word I have written, I stand by with evidence. Aap ho sakta hai mujhse agree nahi karte, mujhe pasand nahi karte, woh sab alag baatein hain. Par dil pe haath rakh ke ek baar sochiye ki maine kya galat bola.

The fight for Five-Day Banking must not be seen merely as a struggle for implementation of an agreement that has remained pending for more than 30 months. This is a fight for our existence, our dignity, our families and our fundamental right to a humane working life.

Public Sector Bank employees serve far more customers than our private-sector counterparts. Even with private banks accounting for a substantial share of the banking market, it is overwhelmingly the Public Sector Banks and their employees who carry the burden of Government-sponsored schemes, financial inclusion, social-sector banking and the last-mile delivery of public policy.

We work for institutions owned by the people and for a Government that expects us to reach every citizen. We have never shied away from that responsibility. But those who expect us to serve the nation must also recognise one simple truth:

We are not robots. We are not machines. We are not AI tools. We are human beings.

We have families waiting for us, children who need our time, parents who need our care, and lives beyond targets, reviews, late-night meetings and relentless workplace pressure.

We are not asking for privilege. We are asking for dignity, balance and justice.

The growing culture of excessive working hours, constant pressure and an increasingly toxic work environment cannot become the new normal. Five-Day Banking is one important step towards restoring humanity to our workplaces.

It is not an unreasonable demand.

Honestly speaking i am surprised and disappointed by UFBU leadership stand on Sunday opening of PSB and RRB .
UFBU should have lodged a strong protest letter to RBI / IBA / DFS on this as well as explored legal route to challange this Sunday opening of branches of PSB and RRB whose employees are on strike from Monday to Wednesday.

I have requested UFBU to take a common stand on RBI direction to open branches/ offices on Sunday on IBA request.
In my opinion we must not open our branches and offices on Sunday under any circumstances .
We should also legally examine RBI power to open branches on Sunday which is a holiday under NI ACT .

Police nahi military bula lo .
22 years back in patna we were agitating against zonal management on transfer posting issues and one fine morning with around 100 comrades all on casual leave we entered zonal office right in front of zonal head cabin to ghareo him .time was 10.30 AM .
ZM has fled away on leave. DZM came out of his cabin and asked our comrades why you all are here .who have called you here .
I replied unse nahi mujhse puchiye I have called them to gherao your Boss where is he call him here .
He get into argument with me i told him go to your cabin I know you are having heart issue not good for your health to argue with me in presence of 100 people .something may go wrong with your health in this crowd .meanwhile one CM HRD interrupted and said sahab se aise baat karte hain aap ham police bulayenge maine kaha police nahi military bula le and aaj bina military bulayen ham log jayenge bhi nahi aaj .and then I asked him when 2 people are talking who told you to intervene and I told one of comrade kar de elaz eska woh cm dar ke bath room me chhip gaya and DZM apne cabin me jaldi se chale gaye .
Agitation continued for few more days ZM came to his office after few days he got rough treatment and finally agreement happened on our terms .
So who is afraid of this FIR and police . government is grossoy mistaken in understanding bankers resolve to get 5 days banking week demand fulfilled.

Today in the meeting, UFBU took a firm stand against the Government. DFS said that 5-day banking is under consideration. UFBU said, “We have been hearing the words ‘active consideration’ since January 2026, but nothing has happened yet. Bankers have waited for 30 months, and we need 5-day banking now.”
