Some odd behaviour using #claude recently - when I asked it to update a piece of text, when it's streaming, new text was appearing as expected. But then it would revert back to the old text and told me it's completed. Had to ask it a couple of times before it worked okay.

If you’re building AI agents, the cycle generally looks like:

1. Build scaffolding to compensate for some gap in capability in the model

2. Model finally can solve that issue

3. Get the benefits of model upgrade by scrapping prior scaffolding, and now solve harder customer problems

4. New gaps emerge between the latest model advancements and new customer problem

5. Repeat

This will probably go on forever because our demands for AI agents will only grow more and more over time. The key is to be insanely flexible and unsentimental about your architecture.

The real moat gets built by getting users, getting more and more data, powering the broader workflow that agents tap into, and quickly evolving your systems as new breakthroughs emerge.

Claude's new ability to work with Excel files is the best I have seen so far

I have given it existing spreadsheets to work with and asked it to create new ones. Good use of formatting, formulas, etc.

It created all of this, including 406 formulas, from one prompt (& its solid).
