For centuries no free born person could be imprisoned other than by the judgment of our equals.
It's a fundamental tenet of our liberty!
It is shameful that a Labour minister should contemplate a severe limit on the right to trial by jury.
I really believe VERY passionately that we must keep this woke poison away from children.
OUT of schools, away from their medical care, and certainly NOT conducting any vile experiments on confused young boys and girls.
It's child abuse, to be honest. It should be illegal.
MP signatures, so far, on our letter to the Health Secretary opposing vile puberty-blocking experiments on confused young children, urging an immediate halt to the trial.
I plan to send at 15.00.
If colleagues in Parliament wish to add their name, please let me know.
DIGITAL ID:
"As a lifelong liberal, I’m firmly opposed to the imposition of Digital ID."
Government authoritarian overreach of surveillance and control should have no place in a free society. No one voted to this. We don’t pay our taxes for this.
If the @GOVUK is serious about bringing down bills, it must tackle corporate #profiteering.
We need to bring back #PublicOwnership of our #energy system, starting with the grid.

Important new research: the 2017 ESA cut pushed thousands into poverty, added 92,000 disabled people a year to the mental-health caseload — and did nothing to improve employment rates. And Labour are about to repeat it. Thanks to the amazing @johnpringdns https://t.co/3Z4s9t9OQ8
The government needs to change its “extremely damaging” narrative that suggests disabled people are an “economic burden”, and move away from threats and sanctions, if it wants to increase disability employment, MPs have been told.

Keir Starmer’s mandatory digital ID has absolutely no place in British society. It’s authoritarian, dystopian, Orwellian and illiberal. Britain should never be a “show us your digital ID papers” society. As I discussed with @iancollinsuk | @TalkTV
Ableist hate speech is harming disabled people, and it’s on the rise.
🆘 Disability Rights UK: “Disability Hate Crime has risen by 43% in the last year and more than doubled in the last four years.”
🆘 Inclusion London: “One in five Disabled people report they have either experienced hostile or threatening behaviour or even been attacked.”
🆘 Disabled people are much more likely to be stalked and harassed. Many disabled content creators online experience various forms of ableist hate, including violent eugenics-related speech, derogatory language, and accusations of faking their disabilities.
🆘 It is not a surprise given the effort the government and media are putting in to make life more difficult for disabled people by spreading misinformation and outright lies.
This needs to stop.
