@Icarus_Reloaded@SandeepMall I don't know you. Just saw this post and your DP drew me to it. I had followed you on GoodReads and often saw your posts. That's the same pic, right?
So glad to find you here.
@Terimakakhasamm A very sensitive, subjective issue.
At some point we have to let go if things, people. This is one such case. Even if money is not a hindrance, it is still not worth it. The affection you have for the place won't pass on as inheritance; the building might.
@anupravintl@wittysiddharth For someone who's time is valuable this is nothing. 2 hours is a big deal. It's a wise thing he did.
Loitering around for two hours would have affected his energy for the rest of the day.
@SiddharthKG7 Hosting #Olympics for a country like us in not a good idea. The expenses are huge and returns are minimal.
Even the intangible returns (PR, exposure, tourism etc) fall short.
@Scionofkekeya I have seen people offering hen, piglets as offering at the Sheetla Mata Mandir in Gurgaon. However, it didn't happen in the temple complex. It was done chori-chupe behind the temple.
It's probably a practice that the temple had discontinued but the devotees did anyway.
@Hryindex That Konkan is a bad idea. Imagine they have the High Court in the northest or the southest district. How would a poor person commute who's fighting a property dispute with his siblings?
