Israeli occupation forces reportedly prevented ambulances from reaching the home for several hours following his killing, and kidnapped his body.

Khazem was a retired colonel in the Palestinian National Security Forces and the father of martyrs Raad and Abdul Rahman Hazem, who were killed by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on their family home in Jenin several years ago.16:39
