How the Kaṭha Upanishad Explains the Body, Mind and Self… 😱
The Kaṭha Upanishad presents one of the clearest maps of human existence through its famous chariot analogy. It explains that the body, senses, mind, intellect, and Self are not the same... they perform completely different roles.
> The body is the chariot. It is the physical vehicle through which the individual moves and acts in the world.
> The senses are the horses. Sight, hearing, taste, smell, and touch constantly move toward their respective objects and experiences.
> The mind (Manas) is the reins. It receives sensory impulses and determines where attention moves. An uncontrolled mind allows the senses to pull the individual in countless directions.
> The intellect (Buddhi) is the charioteer. Its function is discrimination... the ability to judge, understand, and determine the proper direction of life.
> But none of these is the true master. The Upanishad identifies the Ātman as the lord of the chariot—the conscious Self for whose journey the entire system exists.
> When Buddhi lacks wisdom and Manas is uncontrolled, the senses behave like untrained horses. Desire and impulse begin determining the direction of life.
But when the intellect possesses right understanding, the mind is disciplined, and the senses are controlled, the seeker can reach the highest goal... the realization of the Self.
The body is your vehicle.
The senses provide movement.
The mind holds the reins.
The intellect chooses the direction.
But the Ātman... Is the one for whom the entire journey exists.

@Rupa_Books Hello! Had recently bought from Delhi airport your published book “The Science of Mind Management” by Swami Mukundananda.
While reading the book, I noticed several missing pages, especially from Pages 53 to 84. Please look into this.
@SingtelSupport It still does not work after trying everything from changing wires on the phone to restarting the entire network. My TV set top box is also not connecting and neither is my Fire Stick. Multiple problems going on making things lot worse.
@SingtelSupport My home digital line is receiving calls made to some other number. And when we call from our home line to our mobile, the number displayed is not our home no.
@ArvindKejriwal Are you out of your mind? The NDTV report you seem to have based your views on clearly states the variant found in Singapore was B1617 (Indian variant). That is why Singapore has already put India on red list. Don’t act like an illiterate person and spread misinformation.
