The obsession with breaking records has successfully turned the fragile Himalayas into the world's longest PARKING LOT. Joshimath is currently choking under a massive 25-30 KM long traffic jam. From Vishnuprayag to 15 km beyond, tourists are stuck in their cars for hours.
A man in Odisha dug up his deceased sister’s grave and brought her skeleton to the bank Just to prove she had died.
He had been trying to withdraw ₹20,000 from her account, but bank officials kept insisting he bring the account holder in person. Despite repeatedly telling them she had passed away, they didn’t listen.
Frustrated and unaware of the legal process, he took this extreme step.
This incident shows not just a lack of awareness, but also a failure of basic human understanding in the system.
Please watch this wonderful video. Shot on the Chobe River, Botswana in 2023, it shows the brilliant ‘#ecological balance’ and displays the “fight for survival” and “survival of the #fittest” concepts. In the end , you’ll feel like pushing the buck 🦌 with your own hands to escape the crocodile 🐊

Footage showing thousands of crows flying across the Tel Aviv skyline is going viral!
This is considered by many to be a "harbinger of doom” as it is often followed by total catastrophe.
An extremely rare sight that no country ever wants to see.
95,000 football fields worth of forests gone in just a decade in Madhya Pradesh.
MP has the largest forest cover in India. It has also become the state that has diverted the most forests for development.
38,553 hectares in ten years. 22% of the country's total. More than Odisha at 14% and Telangana at 7%.
And the pace is not slowing down. More than half of this diversion happened in just the last five years.
The consequences are not abstract.
Majority of districts in MP already face extreme heat risk and an aggravated water crisis. Forests are a buffer against both.
As that buffer shrinks, the cost falls hardest on communities that depend directly on these forests, as well as on people like us who live in cities.
Man-animal conflict is rising. Tigers and other wild animals are being pushed out of core forest zones into shrublands, preying on livestock. Small and marginal farmers are bearing that cost too.
MP is also home to a large tribal population that sustains itself in and around these forests. Their stakes in this conversation are rarely centered.
This needs serious, in-depth study. And whatever interventions follow have to be participatory. Not just technical fixes decided without the people most affected.

India lost 668,400 hectares of forest in just 5 years, ranking 2nd highest globally. We are burning our future for a few extra miles of concrete. This isn't development; it’s an ecological foreclosure on the next generation. @PMOIndia@moefcc#InternationalDayofForests #SaveForests #NoAnimalsNoVote https://t.co/yRFq2FixuG
