Today marks the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. As we honor the 1.5 million Armenians murdered by the Ottoman Empire across modern-day Turkey, Syria, and Armenia, we must refuse to let history repeat itself.
In 2020, the military forces of Azerbaijan and Turkey attacked the Armenian population in Nagorno-Karabakh. In 2023, Azerbaijan expelled over 100,000 Armenians from Nagorno-Karabakh, continuing the genocidal campaign that had begun over 100 years prior.
On this day of remembrance, we reaffirm the right of the Armenian people — and all people — to freedom, safety, and self-determination.
We aren't "provocateurs" but just Basque workers who understand geopolitics.
Therefore, we will always remain against you, since you represent a staunch ally of the Zionist entity (40% of the gas to destroy Gaza is Azeri) and our hearts are part of Monte Melkonian's inner blood.

Gora Euskal Herria!
Tonight, October 22, 2025, Athletic Bilbao faces Qarabağ FC in the group stage of the Champions League.
Under the slogan “No to the Whitewashing of the Azerbaijani Regime,” a talk was organized at the Bira Cultural Center by Iñigo Cabacas Herri Harmaila (ICHH) and Askapena — a supporters’ collective of Athletic Club Bilbao and a Basque internationalist organization, respectively.
Speakers gave an overview on the roots of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, mentioned Artsakh hero Monte Melkonian, denounced Baku’s sports propaganda, exposed the ethnic cleansing of Artsakh, and affirmed the right of the Armenians of Artsakh to self-determination.
Banners in Euskera (the Basque language) were displayed in protest against Baku’s crimes:
- “THE BASQUE COUNTRY ALWAYS WITH ARMENIA!
BE IT APRIL 24 OR OCTOBER 22” [in reference to the Armenian Genocide of 1915 and today's football match]
- “AGAINST ULTRA-NATIONALISM!
Bilbao says NO to Azerbaijani ultra-nationalism!
LONG LIVE FREE KARABAKH!”
- “STOP ETHNIC CLEANSING
FREE KARABAKH”

Henrikh Mkhitaryan, the Armenian football legend and former captain of the Armenia national team, continues to defy time and expectations. In Inter Milan’s clash against his former club AS Roma, the midfielder was named in the starting XI, marking yet another proud milestone in his illustrious career.
By starting this match, Mkhitaryan officially recorded his 155th appearance for Inter, surpassing German icon Lothar Matthäus and drawing level with Andreas Brehme in the club’s all-time appearance rankings. This achievement secures his place among Inter’s top 100 most-capped players—a remarkable accomplishment for a foreign midfielder who joined the Italian side at the age of 33.
Since arriving at Inter in 2022 after three productive seasons with Roma, Mkhitaryan has become one of Simone Inzaghi’s most trusted and consistent performers. His tactical awareness, passing precision, and relentless energy have made him indispensable in the Nerazzurri midfield, where he forms a balanced and dynamic trio with Hakan Çalhanoğlu and Nicolò Barella.
Before joining Inter, Mkhitaryan left an enduring mark at Roma, where he scored 29 goals and provided 28 assists in 116 appearances, playing a decisive role in the club’s UEFA Europa Conference League triumph in 2022—their first ever European trophy. His earlier career saw him shine for Borussia Dortmund, where he became the Bundesliga’s top assist provider in 2015–16, and later for Manchester United, with whom he won the Europa League, EFL Cup, and Community Shield—becoming the first Armenian to lift a European club trophy.
Now 36 years old, Mkhitaryan’s discipline, intelligence, and professionalism continue to set him apart. His start against Roma not only highlights his enduring quality but also adds another chapter to a career defined by quiet excellence and leadership. With every appearance, Mkhitaryan strengthens his legacy as one of the greatest Armenian footballers in history and a model of consistency across Europe’s elite leagues.
As the ceasefire takes effect, Israeli terrorists spend their time destroying whatever they find inside displaced Palestinians’ homes they occupy behind the agreement line in Gaza.
Those homes are then set on fire once they withdraw or reposition.
