@RBI Just received a SPAM call from +911600109192. The use of the 1600 series numbers should be restricted to intimation and transaction purpose only. Otherwise the whole purpose of having a separate series gets defeated.
Lots of taxpayers facing problem with payment of taxes. Even who have paid are not seeing their challans being generated. @FinMinIndia@IncomeTaxIndia Please extend deadline by 3 days.
To all those #DogLovers of #Delhi, I would just say that there are ONLY 10 lakh dogs and more than 2 crore people in Delhi. If the dog lovers are even half in popn, would request them to adopt these dogs and give them a home. Be a true #DogLover!
Ignoring the elected leaders of the country, US President #DonaldTrump agreed to meet the Army Chief #AsimMunir, clearly indicates once again how weak the #Pakistani Democracy is.
It is understandable that US may try to reach out to Pakistan to resolve the hostilities between #Iran and #Israel. #Pak has long been a close ally of Iran and can help in engaging dialogue.
It is interesting to note that @IncomeTaxIndia has quoted TDS filing date of 31st May as one of the reasons for extension of the due date of ITR. The TDS return filing date has always been 31st May for decades now and I am surprised why they have used it as an excuse this year.
Kind Attention Taxpayers!
CBDT has decided to extend the due date of filing of ITRs, which are due for filing by 31st July 2025, to 15th September 2025
This extension will provide more time due to significant revisions in ITR forms, system development needs, and TDS credit reflections. This ensures a smoother and more accurate filing experience for everyone. Formal notification will follow.
@IncomeTaxIndia If we agreed to this logic, then the deadline for filing of return should be extended every year to Sept 15.
Or I would rather propose that the deadline to file TDS return should also be squeezed. Atleast by 15 days to May 15. This would help in getting TDS credits quicker.
@Isvaguru I call this BS. No way that a man can earn Rs. 1.25 Lakhs pm through Zomato/Swiggy. To my knowledge, a lot of the people that they deliver to aren't making that much.
@FinMinIndia@nsitharaman@cbic_india I don't see any benefit that the Government will be able to generate out of this exercise. There are other mechanisms built in which can take care of this without any hassle.
We want to improve #EaseOfDoingBusiness but
making Input Service Distributor (ISD) regn mandatory is completely counterproductive. The marginal GST revenue this will garner is far lower than marginal cost of compliance for businesses. @FinMinIndia@nsitharaman@cbic_india#Rant
@FinMinIndia@nsitharaman@cbic_india For eg., if you are receiving general consultancy services for the growth of the company, you will need to give GSTIN of the ISD as all branches are concerned. But for services such as maintenance of a plant in the same state, regular GSTIN is to be furnished.
