The research paper titled, “Economic Conditions and Related Party Transactions in India,” co-authored by Prof Ankit Kumar has been published in the Journal of Contemporary Accounting & Economics.
Key Highlights:
1) Economic growth boosts business RPTs while uncertainty reduces RPTs in India.
2) Business RPTs are more affected by macroeconomic conditions than opportunistic RPTs, which are more sticky.
3) RPTs in manufacturing and profitable firms vary more with economic fluctuation.
A win for purpose-driven innovation!🏆
