My Demand: Make Long Term Capital Gain TAX on Equities NIL for individual investor.
I welcome the hike in STT (security transaction tax) on derivatives as it can curb reckless speculation. Nearly 90% of retail investors lose money in F&O, turning markets into gambling.
When STT was originally introduced, LTCG was zero. But now with both STT and LTCG in place, investors are disincentivised.
I urge the govt to abolish LTCG on equities for individuals, as done in Switzerland, Singapore, UAE & others. This will boost household wealth, reduce speculation, and shift savings from gold & real estate into equities.

Got a request from a follower to tweet about the age limit to join @ISRO.
The ISRO decreased the age limit from 35 to 28 years for the Scientist/Engineer 'Service Category' positions, as specified in the ISRO Centralised Recruitment Board (ICRB) recruitment notification for 2023.
The exams were postponed during the COVID lockdown, and the decrease in the age limit is disappointing and frustrating for many students preparing to join the ISRO.
ISRO ICRB set upper age limit as 28 yrs with no age relaxation for Scientist/Engineer (EMC).
But CEPO follow Govt age relaxation norms.
Why this policy mismatch for the same post level?
#ISRO#AgeLimit@isro@PMOIndia@OfficeOfDrJS
We @isro Aspirants request you to increase age limit from 28 to 35 years for ICRB Scientist/Engineer-SC Recruitment 2025 (same as it was 35 age limit in 2019 Vacancy as 28 age is too short)
Plz Don't destroy the dream of Aspirants to join @isro ππ
