Σήμερα Τρίτη 15/6 το Γ.Ν. Νίκαιας έχει γενική εφημερία.

📌 Στις 7.30 μμ σημειώθηκε διακοπή ρεύματος στην περιοχή. Η γεννήτρια του νοσοκομείου δυσλειτούργησε : επί αρκετή ώρα η παρεχόμενη από την γεννήτρια τάση "αναβόσβηνε"

📌 Χάλασαν ("κάηκαν") δυο μόνιτορς στην ΜΕΘ (δηλαδή στο λεκανοπέδιο είμαστε τώρα - 2 κλίνες ΜΕΘ γι' αυτό τον λόγο)

📌 Επί μια ώρα (19.30 ως 20.30) δεν λειτουργούσαν αξονικός - υπερηχοτομογράφος - κλασικό ακτινολογικό

📌 Επί 2 ώρες (19.30 ως 21.30) δεν λειτουργούσαν το αιματολογικό και το βιοχημικό, το εσωτερικό δίκτυο πληροφορικής και η σύνδεση του νοσοκομείου με το ίντερνετ.

📌 Η διοίκηση έχει σοβαρότατες ευθύνες : στην διοικήτρια είχε επισημανθεί ήδη από τον Μάρτιο (σε προηγούμενη διακοπή ρεύματος) πως στην περιοχή είναι συχνά τα μπλακάουτς κάθε χρόνο άνοιξη και καλοκαίρι γι' αυτό έπρεπε να φροντίσει για την συντήρηση και τον έλεγχο επάρκειας της γεννήτριας του νοσοκομείου. Προφανώς ΔΕΝ το έκανε. Άλλωστε έχει εδώ και μήνες αναστείλει την ανανέωση συμβάσεων συντήρησης ιατροτεχνολογικού εξοπλισμού, τις ψηφιακές παραγγελίες προμήθειας αναλώσιμου υλικού κλπ.

📌 Επί 2 ώρες οι εργαζόμενοι του νοσοκομείου έτρεχαν υπερβάλλοντες εαυτούς, κάποιοι έτρεξαν από τα σπίτια τους πίσω στο νοσοκομείο.

📌 Η διοικήτρια εμφανίστηκε "κατόπιν εορτής" να διαβεβαιώσει "όλα καλά". Προειδοποιώ να ΜΗΝ ΤΟΛΜΗΣΕΙ (κατά την προσφιλή της τακτική) να αρχίσει να καταλογίζει ευθύνες σε άλλους (σε εργαζόμενους του νοσοκομείου) για να κουκουλώσει τις ευθύνες τις δικές της, του διοικητή της 2ης ΥΠΕ και της πολιτικής ηγεσίας του υπουργείου Υγείας

Γεωργιάδης έπεσε θύμα ενός κατασκοπευτικού εργαλείου παρακολούθησης, που έδωσε σε τρίτους πλήρη και διαρκή πρόσβαση στην κινητή συσκευή του, ενώ τους έδωσε την δυνατότητα να κάνουν εξαγωγή των μυστικών κωδικών [passwords], αρχείων, φωτογραφιών, ιστορικού περιήγησης στο διαδίκτυο, επαφών καθώς επίσης και δεδομένων ταυτότητας. Παράλληλα μπόρεσαν να τραβήξουν στιγμιότυπα οθόνης, να καταγράφουν τις καταχωρήσεις του και να ενεργοποιούν το μικρόφωνο και την κάμερα της συσκευής του. Τέλος είχαν την δυνατότητα να παρακολουθούν οποιαδήποτε ενέργεια πραγματοποιείται μέσω συσκευής ή κοντά σε αυτήν, όπως τις συνομιλίες που γίνονται μέσα σε ένα δωμάτιο.

📍Όλα αυτά έγιναν ενώ ο κ. Γεωργιάδης υπηρετούσε ως Υπουργός Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων, χειριζόταν κρίσιμα χαρτοφυλάκια και απόρρητα ζητήματα και αλληλεπιδρούσε με όλα τα μέλη της Κυβέρνησης.

📍Μολονότι παραβιάστηκε βάναυσα η ιδιωτική σφαίρα του, τα προσωπικά δεδομένα του ίδιου και όσων των πλησίαζαν ή του μιλούσαν αλλά κυρίως τα υπηρεσιακά απόρρητα, που διαχειριζόταν, ο ίδιος επέλεξε να μην κάνει μήνυση κατά των θυτών ούτε να παρασταθεί προς υποστήριξη κατηγορίας εναντίον τους. Δεν βρήκε το θάρρος ούτε καν δημόσια να αποδοκιμάσει όσους τον μετέτρεψαν σε κινητό κοριό.

📍Με αυτά τα δεδομένα η σημερινή του τοποθέτηση ότι είναι ζήτημα Δημοκρατίας η πιθανή καταδίκη της κας. Ασημακοπούλου είναι άστοχη και προκλητική. Η δική του πολλαπλή παγίδευση και οι παραλείψεις του σε σχέση με τα προσωπικά δεδομένα είναι οι μόνες που συνιστούν πανευρωπαϊκή πρωτοτυπία.

The remarkable story of Chinese scientist Tu Youyou, who won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for her discovery of artemisinin — a breakthrough drug that has saved millions of lives from malaria worldwide.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, amid China's "Project 523" (a secret effort to combat malaria during the Vietnam War era), Tu Youyou and her team reviewed thousands of ancient Chinese medical texts for herbal remedies against "intermittent fevers" (a classic description of malaria symptoms).

Most preparations involved boiling herbs into decoctions, but one key reference from the Eastern Jin Dynasty (around 340 AD) stood out — Ge Hong's A Handbook of Prescriptions for Emergencies (肘后备急方). It described using qinghao (sweet wormwood, Artemisia annua) by taking "a handful of qinghao, immerse in two liters of water, wring out the juice, and drink it all." Notably, this method used cold water steeping and wringing (squeezing) rather than heat.

This detail was pivotal: Traditional boiling methods had yielded inconsistent or ineffective results in modern tests because high temperatures degraded the active compound. Tu hypothesized that heat was destroying the antimalarial potency, so her team shifted to low-temperature extraction techniques.

In September 1971, they experimented with solvents like ethyl ether (which has a low boiling point of about 35°C) to extract the leaves and stems at reduced temperatures. On October 4, 1971, they obtained a highly effective sample (#191) that achieved 100% inhibition of malaria parasites in rodent and monkey models. This led to the isolation of artemisinin (also called qinghaosu) in 1972.

Tu even tested the safety of early extracts on herself first. Artemisinin-based combination therapies (ACTs) are now the WHO-recommended first-line treatment for malaria, dramatically reducing deaths, especially in Africa and Asia.
