Middle class families taking ₹1-2 crore loans to send kids abroad for a degree in this economy is one of the worst financial decisions.
I'm a visiting faculty member at one of the world's top business schools. Interact with many such students every day.
Job markets abroad are getting tighter. Visa rules keep changing. People spend ₹2-3 crore on a degree, only to return home without a job.
Middle class families need to introspect instead of blindly following the herd chasing the foreign education and job dream.
I read a very interesting thing the Bhaktavatsal book I am sharing posts of..
Many people know about the famous Cave at Mangaon where Swami Maharaj used to do Dhyaan..
The cave is said to have been discovered by a Siddha woh did Dhyaan there, and he installed Datta Paduka there. It is believed whoever meditates here has his wishes fulfilled, and later Swami Maharaj did Dhyaan here..
One of PP Gulawani Maharaj's shishya and few others having visited Mangaon, decided to visit this Cave in the morning. They then sat there for Dhyaan
Suddenly he saw that the cave changed to some 50 feet hall made up of Silver, and there was divine light radiating every where. This light was pleasamt to the eyes, and right at the center there was beautiul stand with Datta Padukas of stone there.
He then heard these words
"What you seeing now is the actual Rupa of this cave. The Datta sthana on Girnar and this cave have a Divine connection"

The 1978 Ranga-Billa case involved the brutal kidnapping and murder of teenage siblings Geeta and Sanjay Chopra in Delhi by career criminals Kuljeet Singh (Ranga) and Jasbir Singh (Billa).
The horrific crime shocked the nation, leading to a massive manhunt and the swift conviction of both killers, who were ultimately hanged in 1982.
The investigation was led by Inspector VP Gupta of the Delhi Police, with SI Ram Chander serving on the team. A bystander, who had tried to save the children, and later helped the police identify the killers by providing their descriptions was Babulal. The journalist who covered the case was Prabha Dutt.
Amazon Prime's series Raakh, which is based on this incident, replaces Inspector VP Gupta with SI Jayprakash Jatav, explicitly portrayed as a Dalit officer navigating institutional bias. Furthermore, SI Ram Chander is replaced by SI Javed Murtaza, Babulal by Saleem, and Prabha Dutt by Nisar, while a lazy hawaldar character named Mishra has been added to the narrative.
This isn't creative liberty. Creative liberty is meant to enhance a story, not distort historical facts to fit a specific ideological agenda. Another stark reminder of how easily history can be rewritten in plain sight under the convenient guise of creative freedom.
Mulla Nasruddin ran into the police station.
"Help! My wife is drowning!" he cried.
The police asked, "Where is she?"
"She is trapped in the high tide at the beach," Nasruddin said.
"How high is the water?"
"It is at her toes," Nasruddin replied.
The police officer frowned. "She can easily walk away. Why do you waste our time?"
"You do not understand," Nasruddin said. "She is doing sirsasana - a headstand."
This story shows the difference between the dharmik (the spiritual seeker) and the sansari (the worldly person). The dharmik turns conventional life upside down.
Today, we see a modern version of this headstand in extreme health optimisation. Biohackers and health influencers count every calorie, schedule every minute, and measure hormones after sex. They focus so heavily on perfect metrics that they lose their mobility.
An ordinary, unoptimised person can see the tide coming and run to safety. Meanwhile, the rigid optimiser stays trapped in a headstand and drowns.
