DDN and SDAIA Sign MoU to Advance AI Infrastructure in Saudi Arabia! 👏👏👏

On 16 Dhu al-Qa’da 1446 AH (corresponding to May 14, 2025), during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum, the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed a memorandum of understanding with DDN to strengthen the Kingdom’s AI and data infrastructure. The agreement focuses on developing AI-dedicated data centers, cloud computing solutions, and advanced enterprise storage. It also includes collaboration on innovation programs, joint research, knowledge transfer, and national talent development.

Additionally, the MoU covers initiatives in AI-driven cybersecurity, secure cloud technologies, and data governance. The agreement was signed by Raed Al-Faleh, SDAIA’s Chief Business Development Officer, and Laurent Thiers, Vice President, Middle East and Africa, at DDN.
