@creekthinker My kids are definitely the oldest/biggest riders I see around town...size definitely becomes a factor. And tween embarrassment? I'm a wiry 5'4" and balancing them now when at a standstill/start is a serious core/arm workout.

@creekthinker Takes more creativity to keep kids warm in the winter with a long-tail than a bucket but we've made it work (in Denver, easy compared to where we used to be in Mpls).

@creekthinker Kids are a mean age of 9. We just upgraded to Yuba Spicy Curry AT. Motor upgrade is great for the bigger kids, the range isn't as awesome. We've only ever had a long-tail and can definitely say the lower back wheel-base is key.

@deliberateless @benschumacher @ternbicycles @xtracycle I bike my petite 8yr + lrg 10yr old comfortably but it takes a good amount of strength to stabilize it at rest. Im wiry, 5'4. 10yr legs are getting a bit cramped but I think his tween embarrassment will stop him before his size. DM me if you want more!
