Until it's accessible, I'll keep wearing a fitted respirator, as well as using seatbelts, condoms, and other preventative measures for the rest of my life. Because I don't want it to be drastically impaired by the alternatives.

@DuaneStorey @etoilechat @manruipa The people "getting on with their lives" are the ones making it difficult for those like me (immunocompromised) to safely access healthcare. I shouldn't have to weigh the risk of getting infected at the dentist vs neglecting my teeth. This is why we talk about it.

@DuaneStorey @etoilechat @manruipa The great thing about masks is they help prevent the spread of flu too! But covid is much worse, not just causing death but disabling millions. And they aren't all elderly; KIDS are having their futures taken away by this awful disease.
Every infection increases risk of LC.

All patients deserve to receive care without the risk of being infected with something.
It is absurd that healthcare is allowing anyone to be infected with Covid while trying to receive care, mAb infusion, get a vaccine, etc. 
Some of these patients already have #LongCovid..

@ThePOTSPostman As a formerly healthy person, the most shocking part was drs unwillingness to TRY to help. How dismissive they are when a case is too difficult. And that I'm the one that has to come up with tests & treatment suggestions because they can't be bothered investigating.
