Today we held a small memorial for lab members to honor this remarkable and heartbreaking anniversary. It was incredibly powerful to have a chance to reflect on our time caring for and studying these invaluable donations.
It is the 15-year anniversary of our first (early post-mortem) #DIPG tissue donationโฆ my lab has since received 106 such tumor donations๐. So today, we placed 106 roses, one in honor of each child, and planted 106 seeds, to represent the knowledge gained from each.
