When I started looking at Scottish private care finances with @sara_izzM @oeufling I thought we’d find a complicated cost-benefit story.

We didn’t.

Large care-home chains simply pay their staff less, spend more on non-care costs, and get more complaints of substandard care.

@MarkLRuffalo Yes, the patient is influenced by the outer social world. If as therapists we do not bring the outer world into the room, we may allow our patients to attribute to their inner worlds - perhaps feel responsible for - the power dynamics and injustices which belong to society
