When I started looking at Scottish private care finances with @sara_izzM @oeufling I thought we’d find a complicated cost-benefit story.

We didn’t.

Large care-home chains simply pay their staff less, spend more on non-care costs, and get more complaints of substandard care.

I know for a fact that's not true 🤨 As far as I understand, the judgement about whether demonstrators *were* committing a criminal offence is still very much one for legal debate.
