@BootsUK Coney St York. There's always a wait but this is the worst I've ever seen and it's pre-rush hour. Only ever 1-2 staff on. You wait until allowed to order repeat prescriptions that then aren't ready before you run out. Please, please hire more staff. We all deserve better.
PSA to York residents: Don't answer the door to solicitors wearing a @Sue_Ryder hat. Yesterday ~4pm in Holgate we received one who used hard coercive script and made creepy comments about being "not as bad as I look" and about my smile. Made me feel unsafe in my own home.
@esaxey @novicenovelist I'm working on it. ๐ I know a good few whose street it will also be right up! I hope the audience of the Feminist Gothic chat I had with @dawnkurtagich will take heed and pick it up.
I asked for your fave vampires & you delivered! Between now and the Big Fang Day on 28 Oct (tix & details: https://t.co/dJt1Gg9f17), I'll share some to get us in the mood. For @annaonscreen, it's got to be Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. This thread tells us why ๐งตโฌ๏ธ (1/5)
We're blessed to have such amazing (probably) humans joining us to chat vampires. One of them is @annaonscreen, and we highly recommend checking out her collection of poetry, Unknown, now available through @StairwellBooks. More about the event & speakers: https://t.co/dJt1Gg9f17
A big, bloody event like Writing the Occult: Vampires doesn't come to immortality without the help of some amazing human facilitators. First up, the fabulous writer, actor, and poet @annaonscreen, who'll be chatting all things gothic and Dracula with @RookBergen.
2024 NEWS! Delighted to confirm the dates for next year's UK Ghost Story Festival - we'll be returning with four days of online activity and a three-day in person Festival at the @MuseumofMaking! https://t.co/p9Jrn0FwYL
I appear to have gifted myself some days off this Friday-Monday. I want to do a daytrip or overnighter somewhere easy and affordable to get to (sorry London), maybe where a friend dwells or where an open mic or something arty is happening. What's gehn on?
The best thing I can say about this journey is that it's happening. The second best thing I can say is that at least it's Tangled and not Frozen that's being played with commentary and without headphones in this carriage.
