50 foot tall Prometheus bronze statue is about 45% of the height of the body of the Statue of Liberty. It is being built near SpaceX Starbase but is not funded by SpaceX or Elon. In short: It by independent French sculptors as a classical monument/ A French classical foundry called Atelier Missor is independently assembling a roughly 50-foot (about 15-meter) bronze statue of Prometheus just outside/near the entrance to Starbase (SpaceX’s facility in Boca Chica, Texas). It a private project by Atelier Missor (a Paris-based workshop focused on monumental classical statues). They have described it as their own gift/tribute symbolizing technological progress, defiance of limits, and multiplanetary ambition—drawing on the myth of Prometheus stealing fire for humanity. Sections were cast in Paris and shipped to Texas.
Crews are actively assembling it on-site (photos and videos from the sculptors and eyewitnesses show scaffolding, the head, and partial structure near Starbase).

Cost estimates for this bronze version have been around $1 million. Larger titanium versions are part of their broader long-term vision. It is a bit taller than the Atlas statue at Rockefellr center.
