@s1eve Our three descriptions of quality of baking are OK for guests, OK for family and OK with custard. The family always cheer when I inadvertently make the last as cake with custard is their favourite.
@Suchmo83 Turning Pages is an adults’ phonics programme used by Read Easy and Shannon Trust to teach adults and I have found it excellent for tutoring teenagers with reading difficulties or delay. Well worth looking at. Available from Shannon Trust.
@DanMundayNG@bettymunday That really is a tricky combo. Will be praying that the 7 year old has a fun day and the inspection sees the fab support children get at your school.

@redcurrant101 I think, if possible, having choices so that the group work types can do some of that with a possibility of opting out and doing something quiet on your own works well. Easier for some subjects, I guess.
@samhwilson Absolutely. If the church wants quality people who are going to do the job for some years or a whole career, they need to give the sort of pay that can support families and pay for somewhere decent to live
@drybrarian@dcsandbrook Just received a lovely text from our grandson thanking us for this book we gave to him for his birthday. Sounds like he will love it.
