@ConfessingMomma If the mother tests positive for Covid then the body has already started making antibodies which can cross the placenta thus giving the baby the antibodies as well. Plus nursing the baby helps even more. The policy sucks and I don’t get it.

Yesterday the Amityville graduates walked the halls of the ms as we lined up and cheered them on. What a great feeling to see these kids getting ready to graduate and how wonderful it is to have them hug you and remember you with smiles! Those moments make the struggles worth it!

I was at Target today buying 30 notebooks for my class. A man in front of me asked if I was a teacher and when I said yes, he told the cashier he was paying for my notebooks. My heart really needed this...to be reminded that there are genuinely kind people left in the world. ❤️
