1) I am old enough to remember being taught that the communists controlled their populations by what THEIR kids were taught in school and in their after school brainwashing organizations.
This makes me so very sad. My mom never came to my things. My dad did when he could, but he owned his own business. I made sure I was at virtually everything. I may not have stayed for entire ball game if another kids had one, but I was there. My kids knew I cared.
The person who was hurt the second most by my transition was my mother. She might not have physical scars, but I think they took pieces of her away when they medicalized me.
I feel so guilty for every time she was told to pretend that I wasn't her daughter, everytime she was gaslight for her grief. I will never forget the way she took care of me after my breasts were removed.
I was in pain and afraid in a hotel room, and she was there for me, showering me and cleaning me off, helping me when I couldn't lift my arms and do it myself. I know that must have nearly destroyed her. I wanted to be destroyed.
This ideology rips apart families. I wish I could go back and know what I know now.
Iceberg lettuce only? One farm from Mexico only? What about the countless people I am seeing online who swear they never ate lettuce and only ate berries that made them sick?
@PrishaMosley It’s terrible. We are camping (in a trailer) and I am locked inside with two air purifiers. I think we will go to a movie just to get out. 😢
