not sure if anyone read the @FortitudeCrypto q2 numbers but it's not looking good lol
they literally sold 97% of their mined assets, and afaik the immense majority of that is ZEC.
and meanwhile zec is near ath now >$700
what are we doing over here @BarrySilbert

you gotta stop dumping 97% of the zec you mine barry @BarrySilbert
and also please stop dumping 97% of the zec you mine right before it doubles thank you
if you have cold feet it's ok we can warm them

@seams5s also the etf literally charges you a 2.5% fee lol
and barry dumps 97% of the zec he mines
thank you for your attention to this matter https://t.co/aB9eYdD0vf

no you can't do that afaik, different entities and so on
based on the q2 financials fortitude basically had $10M cash and a $31.5M mining hardware order, and they still borrowed money from DCG at 11% to cover it
crazy that they are borrowing at 11% rate by the way, insanely high
so imo they're selling because they literally have no choice, they need the money
fortitude is basically in a bad spot right now as they literally must go into debt to keep up with the hashrate growth of the network
if they hadn't done this, their hashrate share would start decreasing as the network hashrate grows and they would become irrelevant in the long run
they basically need to continuously sell all the zec they mine to be able to keep up lol
@that1618guy imo the marginal buyer here is the person who wants exactly what bitcoin was selling back in 2017 but realizes that that's actually zcash
basically laughable for an "sov" to not be quantum resistant / 100% transparent
bitcoiners are not serious people
