I didn’t realise that the Equality Act 2010 doesn’t apply to people living and providing services in the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Hackney, Haringey, Lewisham, Southwark and Waltham Forest.
Very strange. What other UK laws don’t apply in these areas?

This is Professor Roland Fryer on @triggerpod discussing the reaction to his paper, particularly its findings on police use of lethal force.
He received death threats, required police protection (ironic), and was suspended from the Harvard faculty over a handful of jokes that supposedly created a “hostile work environment.” His research lab was shut down for good measure.
The old Twitter before @elonmusk bought it, flagged and suspended accounts simply for posting the paper, branding it as hate speech.
They had endless tolerance for Arday’s lies.
They went after Fryer for speaking the truth.
On Sat 29th Aug, #203Years since the 1823 Gaols Act, we will be protesting at the Old Bailey.
There are men still housed in women's prisons in the UK & worldwide, there's still work to do.
Please join us at 1pm

This is the most shocking case of police incompetence I’ve ever seen. A woman is dead, and the Met has admitted her death could have been prevented. Tragically, it’s just the latest in a long line of systemic policing failures.
Enough is enough.
I’ll be calling for change tonight at 8pm on @GBNEWS, filling in for Matt Goodwin.
Professional women tennis players are standing up one by one.
Female athletes around the world applaud them.
This is the way.
Strength in numbers.
❤️💪❤️
🚨 THIS IS EXACTLY WHY SO MANY OF US ARE SICK OF IT.
Two young British girls on a night out, visibly scared.
A bloke notices something isn’t right, walks over and starts asking if they’re okay. He checks whether the men hanging around them are actually WITH them.
The girls say NO.
One of the men is stood outside the club in jogging bottoms. The girls look terrified.
So this stranger refuses to just walk past and mind his own business. He stays with them and tells the men straight:
STOP HARASSING GIRLS.
And afterwards? The girls THANK him for stepping in.
This is what women and girls are dealing with.
A night out. Walking to a mate’s. Going to the shops. Getting home at night. Constantly looking over your shoulder and wondering whether that bloke following you is going to leave you alone.
And apparently we’re supposed to pretend nobody can see what’s happening?
We’re not “imagining” it.
WE’RE LIVING IT.
When are people going to stop pretending everything is fine?
Massive credit to the man who saw two frightened young women and actually DID something instead of walking away. 👏🇬🇧
More men like this.

I’ve written for the Times today on what Jason Arday’s rise and fall from grace tells us about the chunks of modern academia that have become places that prize midwitted groupthink, and people parroting idiotic ideologies to remain in with their mates.
A journalist is investigated by police for four months, simply for doing his job, and the commissioner shrugs and says “we dropped the ball on that one”.
This is why nothing ever changes. The police are ideologically captured and nobody in charge understands why it’s a problem.
🚨 THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU STAND UP FOR WOMEN’S SPORTS
Sophie Cunningham attends a peaceful rally supporting women and girls…
And a counter-protester with a megaphone screams that she should have been aborted.
That’s the level of hate directed at women who simply want to protect Title IX and fair competition.
They’re not “anti-trans.”
They’re pro-women.
And for that, they get death wishes and constant threats.
This isn’t activism.
It’s intimidation.
It is so disgusting that this man “Julie” Tetart is getting accolades in French women’s basketball.
“a 6'3 scoring and rebounding machine”
Who won “Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and Domestic Player of the Year”.
Titles which should have gone to a woman.
No one on this planet believes that this is a woman.
Czaicie to? Imigranci nie ułatwiają pracy zwolennikom ideologii otwartych granic. Nawet filmu propagandowego nie mogą już nakręcić, bo ich bohater za kilka lat kogoś zabije.
Third rape in Brighton in a week. This is a city that has no single-sex support services for women who've been raped. And a Labour councillor has just resigned because @BrightonHoveCC won't listen to residents' concerns about this.

“Dropping the ball” is when you fail to do something you later realise you should have done.
Not when you persistently do something you shouldn’t be doing for several months. That’s refusing to put down a ball you had no business picking up in the first place.
This is wild. The Atlantic has obtained a copy of Jason Arday's book proposal. In it, he claims to have:
- Experienced 'locked-in' syndrome for several months after being hit by a car. Doctors advised his family to have the life support machine turned off, but he awakened 'miraculously'
- Been struck down by testicular cancer (though this changes in the book to brain cancer)
- Been beaten up by a group of kids and then, in court, pleaded with the judge not to jail them. Coincidentally, two of the kids later became his students, and Arday became godfather to the child of one of them
- Aborted a suicide attempt on a bridge after listening to an Eagles song.
- Been awarded several accolades - of which no proof exists online.
- Been told by a 'shaman woman' in Brazil that he would suffer greatly but also do great thing. 'Every event she described has since come to pass,' he wrote.
The book is due for publication next week by @simonschuster. Surely they have to pull it. https://t.co/GMjBEx3gcU
The BBC report on Jason Arday's resignation. This isn't journalism. It is a shoddy attempt to frame Jason Arday as a victim, racism accusations, smearing the academic who called out his plagiarism, and promoting another money-grab by the Good Law Project. This is bad journalism.
This is a man who named himself “Roxy”. This is “Roxy Tickle” and he gets to go into the girls’ locker room. And he sued Sall Grover demanding entrance into her woman only app. Why on earth is anyone pandering to him?
