We want to depict HIM as the problem for allowing security breaches and Alibaba as just doing what every AI company does.
I really think this narrative could gain some currency in high places in the U.S.
The Pentagon has dressed Dario down for stuff like this in the past, the top brass there do not like him personally, while Trump is trying to be as friendly with Xi as possible. Dario may have miscalculated and I really think enough of us, speaking loudly enough, could increase the probability of his decision costing him instead of us in the long run.
