Not to read 3 books at a time but rly enjoying when crack was king. Majority follows people’s lives through the rise of crack’s prevalence. Reminds me that everything in history/in the news/in concept can be reduced down to people’s stories, and actual firsthand experience
The most regulating thing for me reading Pema Chödrön. Mainly the concept of opening to all things, seeing everything as fresh vs fixed. Remembering to open up is hard tho
