You wanna know something I hate? Cooked pineapple. Doesn't matter what it's on. Pizza, kebabs, even deserts. I can't stand cooked pineapple.
Guess that means I can't log into WordPress dot org :/
The amount of petty is just mind numbing at this point. What a brat.
Looks like the preliminary injunction was decided in WPE's favor.
This is great news, but what remains to be seen is how Matt will respond. Will he roll over or take this as a personal affront and make things worse?
I know what I'm guessing will happen.

@DuaneStorey I agree. Pardons should not be used in this way.
Also, people shouldn't target someone's family for political means like this.
Murica gonna murica.
@Rarst Sure seems that matt sees all of this as his own personal everything. We're just idiots who contribute for free so he can brag about "his own personal CMS" that powers 40% of the sites online.
A great many American's will be celebrating Thanksgiving tomorrow and saying what they are thankful for.
I'm gonna kick things off early by saying I'm thankful for the #WordPress community.
@DuaneStorey At this point, I don't understand why more plugins aren't being pulled. https://t.co/hrHjjh4Tbh is untrustworthy. Period. End of story.
I tell myself that people are waiting on the court verdict, then they will. But that doesn't change the effect from #MattMullenweg actions NOW.
Another plugin leaves the #WordPress repository. I think everybody should follow suit as the dot org repos are no longer trustworthy and clearly at the whim of one vindictive person.
"We have thus lost our trust in the [wordpress dot org] platform, the WordPress Foundation itself, and most importantly the man who seems to wield the ultimate power in the entire ecosystem."
I hope Matt wakes up soon as realizes the damage he's done to the brand and eco-system.

WP 6.7 released with a known bug affecting translations. This was reported during the release candidate testing and they decided to release with the bug because it's a "minor issue."
It tells me a lot about the folks running the ship when breaking translations is "minor" to them.
Must be nice to live in a world where everyone speaks English and translation functionality is just a "nice to have" utility that doesn't really matter.
Anyway, this is why I never update sites when a new WP core update comes out. I just assume there is something VERY broken.
There was a nice period before Matt decided that gutenberg and hitting arbitrary release deadlines was the most important thing (you know, the kinda thing a venture capitalist would think is important) where I could safely update core. A time when backwards compatibility was the most important thing. A time when a bug like "translations are broken" would push the release back.
Software has bugs and it's not uncommon for a release to an eco system as broad as WP will result in UNKNOWN bugs being reported AFTER release.
But when there is a known bug that will affect millions of websites and billions of users/visitors worldwide ... maybe we fix that BEFORE release.
@BigHuman One of the worst written pieces from a company that clearly has never used WP Engine as a host. Move sites to and from WP Engine for the past 12 years and never had any issues. Such vague comparisons without providing direct evidence.
@sereedmedia It's like WP core doesn't even have a feature to allow directly editing PHP files from the dashboard unless steps are taken to disable it.
And Matt would probably say that isn't WordPress any more, even though Automattic disables that feature on dot com and VIP.
@DuaneStorey Yep, very low risk. Not saying it shouldn't be patched, but Matt definitely told folks who work for him "find something." Then they scoured the code till they found an excuse to take it over.
@Tmeister The monopoly case is the one that could potentially force a break up that might lead to a community driven WP foundation.... that's the dream.
@tealou Sorry, did not mean that to come across as corrective. I assume you and others would understand and know... likely better than me.
I just find the recall to be a collasal waste of time and no one will do anything about it, but at least their butt is covered.
