Here's how to donate to First Nations that have been forced to flee their homelands due to the widespread wildfires.

That unhoused people have no choice, no protection, no way to stay safe in these deliberate climate emergencies, should be enraging to more of us. It’s social murder.
🚨We have just 13 days to stop the destruction of Chaco Canyon, a profoundly sacred cultural & historical site. The Trump administration wants to destroy the area by opening it up for oil & gas drilling.

I do not share any campaign for a family unless I am completely certain of their extremely difficult situation and their genuine need for help.
This campaign is for the family of my close friend, who is going through very difficult circumstances after losing his job. He asked me to share his campaign with great hesitation and humility, as he is the only provider for his family and is doing everything he can to support them.
If you are able to help, please consider sharing or donating. Every bit of support can make a real difference for this family

🔴 Day 1 of sharing my family's story until they are finally safe.
My name is Mahmoud, and I am the only member of my family who managed to leave Gaza. I was forced to leave my loved ones behind, where they continue to face war, destruction, hunger, and an extreme lack of money to cover even the most basic necessities like food, clean water, and medicine.
Although I was fortunate enough to receive an opportunity to study abroad, my heart is still with my family. Not a single day passes without worrying about their safety. I cannot truly move forward with my life while knowing they are living through this nightmare. That is why I started this fundraiser—to help them survive today and, one day, reach safety.
In addition to supporting my own family, I am also doing everything I can to help five other families in Gaza who are living under the same devastating conditions. I know I cannot save everyone, but I cannot turn away from those I have the chance to help.
My father was also seriously injured during the war and now requires continuous medical treatment and care, which has become an overwhelming burden for my family under these impossible circumstances.
Your donations will help provide:
Essential food and clean drinking water.
Ongoing medical treatment, medication, and healthcare for my father.
Basic hygiene supplies and other daily necessities.
University tuition and educational expenses for my siblings in Gaza.
Savings to help my family evacuate to safety when the opportunity becomes available.
Every donation, no matter how small, gives my family hope. And if you are unable to donate, simply sharing my story could help it reach someone who can.
Thank you to everyone who stands with us and gives my family hope for a safer future.

I want to scream. I don’t know what to write. I have no idea how words could ever describe what I’m feeling or the shock I’m in.
How… how can the funeral of someone who was killed just three hours earlier be targeted? How can a person be targeted even after death? Aren’t funerals sacred in every religion and every human tradition? How can saying goodbye to the dead turn into another massacre?
I couldn’t bear looking at the photo. Ten people were walking in the funeral of their friend and relative, and minutes later, they too were among the dead. I can’t comprehend what I saw, and I can’t find any words to explain it.
What is happening in Gaza has become beyond human comprehension. These are scenes I don’t think anyone anywhere in the world could ever imagine witnessing, yet they have become part of our daily lives. I’ve been in a state of shock for the past three hours, unable to even write a single sentence.
I’m exhausted from writing. I’m exhausted from posting. I’m exhausted from screaming into the void every single day with nothing changing. I’m exhausted from living a life where our only goal is to survive until tomorrow. Were we created just to spend every day trying to escape death?
And what breaks my heart even more is this: how has the world watched these scenes and then simply carried on as if nothing happened? How can so much death and so much suffering pass before the world’s eyes without shaking its conscience?
I apologize for interrupting your browsing, but if you are holding your phone right now, please join me in writing... Pray for me to have food and safety, oh God, I need food and safety. https://t.co/LUo2e37nFZ
It doesn’t matter if the man killed by ICE in Maine was authorized to work in the United States or not. It doesn’t matter if he had a social security or not. ICE should not be killing anyone. Period.
I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me, and I don't want to be treated like a victim. All I want is to share my story and the story of my people. This is not something that began today; it is a reality we have lived through for many years, and it continues to become more difficult and more dangerous every single day for my family and for everyone living in Gaza.
I'm not telling my story to ask for sympathy. I'm telling it because the world needs to know the truth. People need to know who we are, how we live, and what we go through every day. Too many people don't see this injustice, or they don't truly understand it, and that's why I feel a responsibility to speak about it.
We are not numbers in the news. We are not headlines. We are human beings with dreams, hopes, and ambitions just like anyone else. We want to study, to work, to build our future, and to live in peace and safety without fear. We want the chance to grow, to succeed, and to contribute to the world like any other people.
I don't believe that's too much to ask. It is a basic human right. I deserve to live, and so does every child, every woman, every man, and every family in Gaza. This is not a plea for sympathy. It is a call for people to see the truth and to recognize our right to live with dignity.
My dear friends... 💔
I am feeling very sad.
I haven't been able to visit the dentist because donations have been very low, and support has become extremely slow.
My pain is getting worse day by day, and I simply can't afford the cost of treatment.
If you are able to support me or share my appeal, I would be deeply grateful from the bottom of my heart.

They want you to believe your voice doesn't matter.
Yet in just the last few days:
-LAPD canceled its Flock contract.
-Meta cancelled Muse Image AI after privacy outrage.
-One of the largest planned U.S. data centers was killed (PW Digital Gateway) by local opposition.
The surveillance state isn't inevitable.
It advances when people are apathetic.
It retreats when people fight back.
Public pressure works. Keep pushing.

I am tired… so tired of everything I see every single day.
Tired of seeing the children of Gaza in the streets like this, seeing their photos everywhere as they beg for medical treatment before they lose their lives. Tired of seeing children running toward us when the water trucks arrive, carrying their small containers and waiting for their turn to get water.
Tired of seeing them rush to receive food because they do not know when their next meal will come. Tired of seeing their small bodies covered with wounds, scars, and diseases. Tired of seeing children who have lost their limbs trying to adapt to a life they never chose, and orphaned children who have lost their parents carrying pain far greater than their young age.
Tired of seeing children collecting papers from the streets to burn instead of wood. Tired of seeing ten year old children working among stones and rubble instead of being in schools, carrying responsibilities that no child should ever have to carry.
I feel helpless in front of this pain… helpless in front of the faces of children whose childhood has been stolen from them. Why are children always the ones who pay the price of wars? Why must they suffer the consequences of something they never chose?

Very heartbreaking news…
A short while ago, the water station we partnered with for our water project was directly struck, resulting in the deaths of several people and injuries to others working there.
As a result, we have been forced to suspend our water distribution project until further notice.
This station was one of the most important remaining sources of clean water in Gaza City and served as a lifeline for thousands of families, especially after most other water stations had stopped operating.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of life and by the suspension of a project that was providing clean drinking water to people enduring these extremely difficult conditions.
