On November 17, 1986, the crew of Japan Airlines Flight 1628 reported encountering mysterious lights and a massive unidentified object while flying over Alaska. Just over two months later, on January 30, 1987, a U.S. Air Force KC-135 crew reportedly encountered another unexplained object while flying between Elmendorf and Eielson Air Force Bases. Although there is no proof the two crews encountered the same object, the proximity in both time and location makes the reports especially intriguing. On the morning of April 14, 1561, between around 4:00 and 5:00 a.m., the citizens of Nuremberg, experienced a mysterious display in the sky.

This event was documented by Hans Glaser, a printer and woodcut artist, who published a broadsheet describing what many residents observed. His illustration and accompanying account depict a variety of strange shapes seen in the sky above the city.

According to his report, observers saw red, blue, and black spheres, crosses, objects that looked like cylinders or tubes, reddish arcs, and a large dark form described as a "black spear" pointing westward. These shapes appeared to move rapidly, seemingly engaging in a chaotic struggle that lasted around an hour.
