This was hard to talk about, but I hope this conversation can be a wake up call about the dangers of #pubertyblockers. Thank you for being a truth teller, @BuckAngel

@ShhSemiotician@kinziefur This rapid and unprecedented rise in cross-sex hormones, double mastectomies and complicated and dangerous genital surgeries will be like something we’ve never seen. I’m personally sad and scared.
Those of us who work in pelvic floor health are terrified of what is coming. And most are afraid to speak up because they’ll get hate.
We’re scared and already preparing for a huge rise in atrophy, pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, loss of sexual function…
I’ve been on hormone blockers. I have had a radical hysterectomy. It’s NOT FUN to be a medical patient for life. Informed consent is a fucking DISASTER if you ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT TRANS KIDS.
@ShhSemiotician After years of dealing with the same shit (and having my organs fully fused together) I found an amazing surgeon. I was too far gone…I had to get a radical hysterectomy.
Out here lying again. These drugs ravaged so many in the endometriosis community. Why doesn’t our voice matter when we are SCREAMING about the risks (and the shadiness of the doctors getting paid to say they’re safe)
It’s like watching a trainwreck happen.
@daringtospeak@anoushtutoush Because the moment we do we are called liars. That our experiences aren’t valid. That we only hate people. The truth is, we see the problems in adult women and know that young people - still growing - will encounter the same or worse because they are not fully developed yet.
The amount of times I have been called a “creep” or “pervert” for explaining why it is dangerous to advocate using the same drugs we chemically castrate violent sex offenders with on KIDS, off label…..
@Fonziruv @chasestrangio I do care. Because many of us were really harmed by these medications and we simply want to warn parents. The same lies were told to us in the endometriosis community and thousands of us were harmed irreversibly.
