@durov Alcohol, drugs, and debt often derail bright minds.

These temptations can trap even the smartest people, leading them down destructive paths.

Your #secondbrain is trapped in files. give your ai agents a local plug into daydot with our new MCP CLI feature.

Journal search used to take over the feed and hide the new-post editor. results now stay inline, with feedback pinned to the footer, so you can keep writing while you search

Spot on. And the next step: building ai agents. Training the llm is just the engine; the real lever is the agentic layer that actually executes.

[Paul Graham @paulg]

Someone asked what I'd do if I were 17. I'd learn how to build LLMs from scratch, and then train ones as powerful as I could with whatever hardware I could get access to.

The long-term ripple effect of this integration is the erosion of communication sovereignty. i’m trading my privacy for speed, allowing a single model to map my entire social graph.

[ChatGPT @ChatGPT]

Draft it. Tweak it. Send it.

You can now send emails directly from writing blocks in ChatGPT on the web, without leaving the conversation.

agents.md is already the industry standard because it prioritizes the functional role over the specific vendor.

at its core, an agent needs a predictable entry point for context, using a tool-agnostic name is the only way to ensure long-term interoperability.

[Peter Yang @petergyang]

It's pretty annoying that Codex uses agents.md and Claude Code uses Claude.md.

There should be some industry standards to this stuff?

[an phan @anphanau]

@bridgemindai I left claude for codex, and already had to resubscribe to claude. I use both in parallel now. Claude definitely has better token limits, but i keep codex around because the code quality is as good as the rumors say.

That's why i added bi-directional connections and a knowledge graph feature to DayDot.

Links are more important than tags.

Tags categorize notes, but links connect specific ideas. These connections generate new insights. when many notes link to a central idea, a hub naturally forms.

A founder who sells fast often wins the early race. Proving market demand and bringing in revenue gives purpose to the code. You can always refine what you build, but you can't sell a product nobody wants. Customer feedback then shapes better, faster coding.

[Jonathan @jonathanbrnd]

who wins?
1. a founder who codes fast
2. a founder who sells fast

It's interesting how this trend puts creative skills front and center in AI. This could really change who builds technology, bringing in more diverse ideas beyond just traditional engineers.

[Lenny Rachitsky @lennysan]

Trend I'm following: Top AI companies hiring professional "vibe coders." Non-technical people who are top 1% at using Lovable/Replit/Bolt/v0/Cursor.

[an phan @anphanau]

Big news for online learning! I'm thinking about the instructors and course variety. Will this merger push more university-led content, possibly shrinking the space for those unique, independent courses Udemy brought to the table? Hope we don't lose that rich diversity.

BREAKING: Coursera and Udemy to merge into a ~$2.5B online learning platform

Resilience isn't about being tough - it's about being flexible like a tree in the wind. You bend, you don't break.

You are a knowledge worker. Your brain is your primary tool. If you're not sleeping enough, eating well, and moving your body, you are actively sabotaging your ability to think clearly and make good decisions. Prioritize your health as a core business strategy.

You don't need to be a great writer. you need to be a clear writer. focus on BENEFITS, not features.

« Copywriting: the art of selling with words »

Copywriting is the most leveraged skill a founder can have. it's how you explain your product's VALUE on your landing page, in your emails, and in your ads, etc.
